SAP just outlined its “Autonomous Enterprise” vision—and it’s refreshingly direct: stop AI agents from only chatting, recommending, or summarizing. The goal is to get them into the *core* business workflows where work actually gets done. The architecture is split into three layers: 1) **Platform**: SAP Business AI Platform, built on SAP Business Technology Platform + Business Data Cloud + SAP Business AI. A key highlight is **SAP Knowledge Graph**, designed to model enterprise entities, processes, and relationships so agents understand business context—not just user wording. SAP also introduces **Joule Studio** for creating enterprise agents and agent-driven workflows. 2) **Suite**: SAP Autonomous Suite, where agent capabilities are embedded into existing SAP applications. SAP plans 50+ domain-focused **Joule Assistants** (finance, supply chain, procurement, HR, CX) plus 200+ specialized agents for finer-grained tasks. 3) **User layer**: **Joule Work**, positioned as the AI “work entry” for task- or outcome-based commands. Expect multi-channel UX (desktop/mobile/voice) and coordination across SAP and non-SAP systems. SAP is also backing rollout with funds and migration/automation tools. This is AI moving from observer → operator. #SAP #AIagents #EnterpriseAutomation #BusinessIntelligence #KnowledgeGraph #DigitalTransformation
